The Different Types of Downloads |
This is the case when you download free content (green icon), or when you download licensed content with a paid monthly subscription (then there is no payment for the individual download). With a subscription you have a limited ownership of the file. This means you can play it for as long as you have a valid subscription, but you cannot burn it.
This is the case when you choose the "Buy MP3" option to purchase one or more tracks, or a complete album.
When you purchase a song or album, you own it. This means you can both listen to it and burn it onto a CD even when you don’t have a valid subscription.
Read more about this in the Download and Purchase Options section.
There are several ways to start a download:
1. In the Search pane, double-click on the row of the track you want to download.
OR
2. Click the
or the
button at the end of the row.
OR
3. Right-click on the row and select the 'Download' option from the menu.
The file will now start to download and can be seen in the Download Pane. See Monitoring your Downloads.
If you are thinking of downloading the complete album, click the
icon to go to the album's page in the Discover Section.
