Dancing for us

Posted by DJ • December 01, 2011 at 09:36 AM

Beyonce is getting all, like, Film Noir on us with this 50′s style black & white new video. Although it’s pretty safe to say that back in the 50′s, nobody really danced the way Beyonce does here, and that even if they did, they would have probably been hospitalized in a mental institution. We’ve come a long way, haven’t we?  Anyway, Dance For You is a new track that appears on the Deluxe edition of her latest album, 4, which just came out this week. Get it on iMesh.

We have lift off!

A new Beyonce video is always a good reason for a party, let alone a new post on our blog.  This is Countdown, a dazzling combination of styles and sounds and proof that pop in 2011 can still be fun, challenging, full of surprises and yet insanely catchy.

And don’t forget, her album 4 is still available for download on iMesh

The empire strikes back

The first single from Beyoncé’s new album was a somewhat disputable choice. The new track, however, Best Thing I Never Had, is a classic Beyoncé – soulful yet contemporary, women- empowering yet sensitive and smart, and her majesty is firing on all of her vocal cylinders. And as if that’s not enough, the video features Beyoncé wearing a lingerie outfit and a princess Leia hairdo.

She’s irreplacable

Oh yes, the queen is back. With all due respect to the Gagas, Rihannas and Britneys, there is only one Beyonce. The former child of destiny is gearing up towards a new album and returns with a new single, Run the World (Girls). Hear it right here and let us know what you think.

The new song is actually based on Pon Di Floor, the big dancehall tune by Major Lazer – the UK producer Switch and  his US associate, globe trotting DJ Diplo.
