It used to be that only rock stars and other “edgy” musicians decided to ink their skin, but over time tattoos have become the standard, even amongst the most mainstream musicians. Ozzy Osbourne was quoted saying “If you want to be f***ing individual, don’t get a tattoo. Every f***er’s got one these days.” Ozzy is right everyone in the music business seems to have a tattoo these days from Pop Princesses to Boy Band Members.
Justin Bieber – Remember when Justin Bieber was an innocent child singing songs like “Baby, baby, baby”. What happened to that kid? Now The Biebs is out partying hard and getting into trouble with the paparazzi. To solidify his “bad boy” image Justin has been adding tattoos non-stop. Each tattoo has special meaning and this one from his shoulder is a mascot for the Canadian Junior Hockey Team.

Rihanna – Rihanna is no stranger to the “bad girl” image, her Instagram User is even @badgirlriri. She has quite a few tattoos. One is a large one of the goddess Isis on her ribs. Riri often shows off her tattoos on her Instagram account. Here is one shot of her proudly displaying her ink.

Miley Cyrus – Miley Cyrus used to be a squeaky clean Disney Star but she is pushing the envelope more and more these days with her outfits, her music and most recently her video. Another way she chooses to express her wilder side is her ever growing collection of body art. She has tattoos on her fingers and wrist including this anchor.

Demi Lovato – Demi Lovato also started out as a “girl next door” teen star, but got edgier as time went on. She proved her belief in her music recently when she had a lyric from one of her songs tattooed on her shoulder. It reads “now I’m a warrior”. It is the newest addition to her many tats.

Harry Styles – The boys from One Direction all appreciate tattoos. Harry Styles has many prominent tattoos on his chest including this large butterfly tattoo on his ribs. Every member of One Direction has at least one tattoo. What ever happened to the days when there was only one “bad boy” per boy band?
