The band recorded their first demo tape Flyswatter, in May 1993, in Raynor's bedroom. In the same year, they recorded another demo, which was simply titled as Demo #2. It had a few re-recorded songs from Flyswatter, as well as new songs that went on to be re-recorded and re-released on the albums Buddha, Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch.
