The First Album
Z-Ro recorded his first album in the year 1998. You might recognize the title. It was called Look What You Did to Me. This album hit people hard and gave them the respect that they have for this African American rapper. Most of his fans are from the south. His music is said to reflect the crime and poverty that fans face today. Jail has led him to turning his life around after being busted for cocaine and other drugs.

After 1998, his career really took off. For three consecutive years following 1998, Z-Ro had put out a new CD. The first one was in the year 2000 titled, Z-Ro vs. the World. In 2001, he put out another CD. This one was titled, King of da Ghetto.
