This album was punk-rock, heavy-metal sound fused with groove guitar rifts and up-tempo R&B grooves. After performing at the Pyramid Club, they were signed to Geffen Records. They released, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol.1, which launched the band into the mainstream. By 1993, the album went gold and White Zombie was touring across the world. The music video for the single,Thunder Kiss '65, was in heavy rotation on MTV and the White Zombie became the muse for the hit TV show, Beavis and Butt-head.
The album was going platinum, Rob and Sean were splitting up, and newly added member John Tempesta was recording with Exodus and Testament. Even though the band was having problems, they still managed to come together to release their triple platinum album,Astro Creep: 2000, which featured the smash hit, More Human than Human. Later, Geffen Records released an album of remixes and unreleased recordings entitled, Supersexy Swingin' Sounds. Attempting a solo project, Rob Zombie collaborated with Alice Cooper on the song, Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn) released in 1996.
This song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. Rob Zombie later released his debut solo album, Hellbilly Deluxe, in 1998, and the band was officially declared over. From record sells and free mp3 downloads, White Zombie has gone triple platinum and is credited to have sold over 6 million records worldwide.

Robert Bertleh Cummings was born January 12, 1965, and was the founder and lead vocalist forWhite Zombie. Robert Cummings legally changed his name to Rob Zombie in 1998. Releasing his solo project that same year, and the follow up albums: American Made Music to Strip By,and The Sinister Urge, proved he could hold own as an solo artist. Not only is he a vocalist and a visionary, in 2003 he debuted his directing skills with the horror film, House of 1000 Corpses. Just as lyrics from so many White Zombie songs, his movies are just as vivid. He went on to write and direct the film's sequel, The Devil's Reject and collaborated with famous director Quentin Tarantino.
Rob Zombiereleased his first greatest-hits album, Past, Present & Future, in 2003, with hit songs with White Zombie as well as his solo efforts. In 2006, Geffen Records released, The Best of Rob Zombie, which included a 4 CD's and 1 DVD.
Sean Yseult was born Shauna Reynolds on June 6, 1966 in a rural town in North Carolina . She played bass with her then boyfriend Rob Zombie for 12 years. After the break up of White Zombie,Sean started playing bass for the rock band, Rock City Morgue and formed the Famous Monsterswith fellow bassists, Katie Lynn Campbell. In 2008, she married Chris Lee from Supagroup and they now live New Orleans , Louisiana where they own a dive bar called, The Saint.
Paul Ena Kostabi was born October 1, 1962, and is an accomplished producer, artist, and musician.Ena is one of the original members of White Zombie, Youth Gone Made, and Psychotica. In 2002, he played with the Ramones for their last stage performance. Since then, he has recorded and produced records for bands like Los Gattos, Willowz, and the Barracks band. John Tempesta was born on September 26, 1964, in the Bronx . He played the drums for White Zombie from 1994-1998; he also played drums for Rob Zombie as a solo artist.
