The glam band of the popular L.A. Sunset Strip that was known as Warrant would form in the mid 1980's by guitarist Erik Turner as well as Adam Shore, Josh Lewis, and Max Asher. The group would start out playing the many clubs and night spots in the greater Los Angeles area in and around the Sunset Strip where they would gain a small following in light of the rock genre that would be known for its ballads and love songs called glam rock. They would create a demo of their music in the late 1980's and eventually go on to sign a recording contract with a major record label to bring their songs to fans across the country.
