Members Barry Kerch, Brent Smith, Brad Stewart, and Jasin Todd emerged in 2001 to create the rock n' roll group Shinedown out of Jacksonville, Florida. The group would take its edgy style international with ballads about love and life earning them a spot in the ever so changing pop/rock culture of the present. Still touring, the hard rock ensemble has ambitions of making one of the greatest rock albums of all time.
