He is one of the hottest pop singers among the younger generation, and they look forward to seeing, and hearing more from him for years to come. He is known best for his role on the Disney Channel on the hit show Hannah Montana as Oliver Oken. He did this before he released his self titled music album to the general public. He has also appeared with other Disney Channel singers both on air, and on tours.

The Beginning of Stardom

Mitchel Musso was brought into the movie industry first by playing smaller roles in smaller movies. He was founded as an aspiring actor when he played a role in Secondhand Lions with Marc Musso, his brother in 2003. He has also started his acting career starring in King of the Hill as Curt, Bobby Hill's friend during two episodes of the second season.

He appeared in the television movie, Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire with Selena Gomez and Chuck Norris. In 2007, Mitchel Musso starred as the surfer in Four Wave Intersection. When the Disney Channel released Life is Ruff in July 2005, Musso played Raymond Figg. Musso has played in small roles since he was seven years old. He starred in McDonald's commercials, Hubba Bubba Bubble gum commercials, and Sony Playstation.

The Beginning of a Music Career

Mitchel Musso made remakes of songs for various movies including the song Lean on Me for the movie Snow Buddies. This song was added to a few records including the Radio Disney Jams 10 CD. Musso also sang other songs for Disney CD's including singing with Emily Osment in the song If I Didn't Have You, on DisneyMania 6 CD. For the Disney Channel Original Movie, Hatching Pete, Musso partnered with Tiffany Thornton to record a song for the movie titled Let It Go. These are only a few of the songs Musso recorded with co-stars for Disney Original Movies.

Musso came out with his self titled debut album in 2009. One of his songs, The In Crowd made it to Radio Disney in December of 2008. Most of the songs that Musso released were also put on Radio Disney Jams CD's. In May 2009, his second single titled Hey was released with the music video which was premiered on the Disney Channel. His songs from the Disney Channel Playlist titled Let it Go and The Girl Can't Help It will be released in June of 2009.

Present Day

More recently, Mitchel Musso went on tour for the Radio Disney Jingle Jams Tour. He was supposed to open for Raven Symone, but the tour was postponed for unforeseen reasons. He went on tour with Corbin Bleu, and also alongside Miley Cyrus in the Best of Both Worlds Tour. During May 2009, he went on a tour to promote his own self titled album.

Musso presented awards to the best actor and actress during the 2008 Spotlight Awards in North Shore Music Theatre in Massachusetts. He made an appearance in Metro Stations music video for Seventeen Forever with Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Musso made an appearance in the College World Series Opening Day in 2009, in Omaha, NE. He signed his self titled premiere album in September 2009 for fans in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
