Getting Started
Anthony Henderson was born in 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1991, he joined the hip hop group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, calling himself Krayzie Bone. Also in the group were Wish Bone, Flesh Bone, Layzie Bone,and Bizzy Bone. In 1997, their single, The Crossroads earned a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
He launched his solo career in 1999, with his debut album, Thug Mentality 1999 as a double disc. The album included guest appearances from rappers and hip hop artists, such as Snoop Dogg, The Marley Brothers, Fat Joe, and Treach. It certified platinum. That year, he received an American Music Award for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist.

Krayzie Bone released his follow-up album, Thug on Da Line in 2001. This was the debut album for his recording company, Thugline. The first single from the album was Hard Time Hustlin', which included an appearance from jazz/soul artist, Sade. The song included a sample from her album, Love Deluxe. Other guest appearances on the album include teen pop star Tiffany and a number of fellow rappers.
He went on to record three internet albums in 2003, 2005, and 2007, with a new one due out in 2010. These albums are available for free streaming or for download purchase only. In 2006, Krayzie Bone was featured on the single, Ridin', by Chammillionaire. The single earned a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and an American Music Award for Best Duo or Group/Rap or Hip Hop. The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #2 in the UK.
Going Strong
Krayzie Bone is expected to release his third physical album, Chasing the Devil, in 2010. He has also announced the upcoming release of Everybody Wants A Thug in 2010, which will be available exclusively via download. These albums are largely un-promoted and contain previously unreleased material from his physical albums as well as some original tracks.
In addition to his solo material, he has released nine studio albums with Bones Thugs-N-Harmony, and a number of singles with the Cleveland rap collective, Mo Thugs Family, of which Krayzie Bone is a founding member. He had also released four compilation albums and two mixtapes. He is currently on a US tour with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
