When we were thinking of names to call the band before our first show, we had decided that we wanted something completely contradictory to what the band and the sound of the band was.

First Start Up
The group would get together for a number of years and in 1999 come together to release their first album called Split. The album did not gain much success although it did help foster new audiences and solidify their already growing fan base. They would go on a basic localized tour throughout Canada in support of the album but then go back into the studio for their second release.
In 2001 the group would come out and release their second album called The Oracle. This album would gain much more popularity and make many more sales than their first, however, it would not get them into the mainstream of rock n' roll in the heavy metal category. The group would continue their tours and gain more support for their records and then go back into the studio to work on their third album.
In 2004 the group would go on to release their third studio album called Until the End. The album gained support and began to get more air play over the radio waves and would also get the attention of some of their fans in the United States as well. The group was well on their way to becoming international stars and they would tour for support of their album but hit the studio once again to work on their next creation.
Continued Success
Kittie would go on to release their fourth album although they would have some difficult times before its release. During this time, the group under went many line up changes from bassist as well as drummers. They would fill the positions rather quickly and go on to release a new EP on the record label of Rock Ridge Music. The title of the EP would be called Never Again. The group would go on to found their own label during this time call Kiss Of Infamy Records will would actually help their international distribution.
After their label announcement, the group would release their fourth studio album called Funeral for Yesterday in early 2007. The group would go on tour in support of the album and used groups such as Walls of Jericho to play the opening and back up acts for the tour. There was so much positive feedback from the tour that they would extend it for a few months.
Later in 2007, the group would travel to South and Central America to do shows all over the South American continent where their band had gained a number of successful shows. In 2008 a European tour was close to follow and the group Kittie would play venues in the Netherlands, England, and Wales along with many other countries. The group would release other albums and many of their fans can visit their official website where they may find free music downloads or songs for internet screening.
