Juan Gabriel was born in the town of Michuacan Mexico and attended the Cuidad Juarez boarding school in Chihuahua but would leave the school at a very young age. He would begin his career in nightclubs at the age of thirteen where he had already written and composed songs for his performances. The young singer would eventually change his name to what it is of the present and would be known for a number of songs, one of which was his breakthrough single called Querida.
