Born in the ever growing coastal city of Vero Beach Florida, Jake Owen has gone on to become one of country music's new up and coming musicians. He was born in 1981 and was said to be quite the competitive sports player where he would eventually take up the sport of golf and go on to pursue a career in the professional golf world although an accident when water skiing would eliminate golf as a career due to an accident.
