The group who would get their name from the movie Gleaming the Cube would form in the state of Ohio in the year of 2003. The group known as Hit the Lights was formed by members named Colin Ross and Omar Zehery and would recruit other members to complete their line up. The band would quickly gain a loyal following of fans with what was said to be a high energy show that they would put on every night they played.
