Adina Howard
"I don't care how people feel. I am very comfortable in my skin and what I sing about. There are plenty of artists out there, so if someone doesn't like how I sing and my approach to it, they can always listen to someone else. I don't only sing about sex but that seems to be the focus of people's attention and that's fine with me. I sing about relationships. Yes, I make great baby-making music but that is something that needs to be made. Regardless of where we are at in the world somebody is always going to be having sex. Even if they outlaw it, somebody is going to be getting their groove on."

In 1998, Howard did a little more film work with Jamie Foxx, singing T-Shirt and Panties for his feature film, Woo. She seems to feel a little misunderstood by her fans, and in an effort to tell her own story, she hired Walid Azami to document the making of her albums; she showed these to fans on her internet sites. In 2004, Howard co-starred with Greg Horos in Casanova's Demise, another of the independent films with which she was involved..
